Terms and Conditions

The following conditions apply to and are deemed to be incorporated in all contracts for sale and supply of the company's services and materials.

By purchasing an item from Hedley Towbars you are agreeing to abide by the following Terms and Conditions.

The placing of an order expresses acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. These terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. All prices shown include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the statutory rate current at the date of invoice. The company reserves the right to alter prices and / or specifications at any time and without prior notice.

Payment for items purchased through the website can be paid by most debit cards or credit cards, (over the phone)

No goods shall pass from the company to the customer unless and until the customer has made full and complete payment to the company.

It is the customers responsibility to notify Hedley Towbars of the details of their vehicle. If the incorrect product is supplied due to failure of this then Hedley Towbars will exchange the product less the handling charge.

Our usual delivery is 3 working days from receipt of payment but most of the time it will be next working day.

For UK post codes AB37-56, ALL - IV, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-88, PH17-50, ZE there is a delivery surcharge of £12.50.

Once the item has left us we are in the hands of the carrier in order for them to attain the target delivery time. Please contact our office if you need us to chase delivery.

IMPORTANT - Please note if the package is damaged, in any way, please check the contents and refuse delivery if parts are missing or damaged

The company guarantees that should our products not be to the standard, or in any way different from that advertised, we will refund any monies paid by the customer, but shall only apply to the item'(s) in question. Complaints or non-receipt of goods must be reported to the company in writing within 10 working days of order date.

Hedley towbars will not be held responsible for any costs incurred due to a faulty product by the customer unless they have been agreed, with prior arrangement by Hedley Towbars. This clause does not affect your statutory rights.

The company does not accept responsibility for damage to any equipment in which our products are used for the purpose other than those for which it was designed.

Any customer wishing to return goods for reasons other than the item being faulty or errors made by Hedley Towbars, will be given, if returned to us within 14 days, a full refund less 10% restocking cost and our carriage charge if the goods are returned in a good and saleable condition. The customer will be liable for return postage costs. Hedley Towbars can arrange collection of items for a £25 charge (Within mainland UK)

No items for return can be accepted at the company offices without prior agreement.

Hedley Towbars will not share any address, contact details or payment details with any other parties.

European Law states that all light passenger vehicles registered on or after the 1st August 1998 require a type approved towbar tested to EC94120, & towball with suitable D&S value. (The correct towball will be supplied with your towbar if you add the towball to your order) This is not retrospective and does not affect any vehicle registered before this date.

All towbars comply with ISO 1102 & (BS AU 113) which specifies the dimensions & location of the towbar to ensure a safe & level towing height between 350mm & 420mm ground to centre of towball. EC94/20 the European Regulation: the towbars are totally committed to conform to this standard & continue to have a full testing program in conjunction with the Vehicle Certification Agency.If you are outside of the EU check with your local Vehicle Certifation Agency to see if the towbar is compatible to be used in your country and your vehicle .
